It's easy to follow Jakob, but end up with a shit solution if you don't understand the underlying principles of interaction design
e.g. cramming stuff into a page, or crafting some unweildy nav system, to avoid more than three clicks
I've seen it happen more than I care to talk about
You can do so much better than Jakob - Raskin, Veen, etc, etc.
He has his place but he's damaging as well as helpful to people's knowledge of how to design well.
