John Gruber on the Dell iPod knockoff, as critiqued here and in many other places.
And either to support Gruber's point that the industry doesn't get Apple, or to highlight that of Apple's critics that they don't care, here's a story I was pointed at yesterday:

Hmm, I think Gruber's point that Dell get corporations, but don't get consumers - whereas Apple is the other way around - feels about right.
