From Monday's G2, an article about the new power in British pop culture (apparently); middle aged men who spend, well, fifty quid a time at Borders.
There're some good quotes.
"The generation gap, once about content, has shifted to modes of consumption. For the under-30s, music is something to be shared and swapped and downloaded."
It mentions Word and Bang, both new magazines last year; the former is proving fairly successful, while the latter (which reminded me a bit of my favourite old music mag, Select) died a quiet death.
I see Dave noticed this too.

Quarter Life Crisis / Over Ground: This 50 quid man thing is really scary. Feels like my disguise has been blown. A cool game for the fontohphile. Never underestimate the power of type and logos....
We hate you all. Yes, especially you. Sod off and DIE
