I keep returning to this essay, which I've no doubt spooled before.
However, after seeing Blowup on the TV yesterday, I was looking for photos of London Wall, which is seen (briefly) in the movie, about 30 minutes in.
Figure 3 in the essay shows essentially the same view, of London Wall and the Miesian tower blocks.
Figure 4 shows the ugly, squatting, postmodern lump of Alban gate, which has utterly spoiled the aspect, if you ask me.
(Which no-one has, of course).
I think I'm becoming some sort of modernist fanboy.
