Ugh. Metal, complete with a horrible wooden bookshelf texture.
Really quite slow. The sample library (nice trick, that; give reviewers and other interested parties data to work with) really shouldn't take a couple of seconds to change views when you move from Music to Movies, should it?
(This is on a G4 PowerBook, by the way, not some shitty G3. If you're saying a cataloguing tool needs a G5, then your world view needs a kick to the head.)
The similar items pane is quite nice, I suppose.
It made a nice guess as to the initial borrowers, too.
I'm not sure how useful it'll be without a barcode scanner, and I don't have one.
Oh, in list view you can only drag on the item, not the name. Blurgh.
I suppose I should give it longer before I dismiss it entirely, but for now I suspect it's going to be one of those apps that lies around unused for a wile.
