Map data and improved imagery now seems to span a good chunk of the continent. There are a few countries missing, but generally, anywhere you're interested in is there now.

Imagery and maps seem to be the same as Google Earth now.
Weirdly the imagery works on Google Maps Mobile, but the map data isn't there yet.
