Never mind the atrocious advertsing blurb. This is a launcher (tied to command-space) that's similar too LaunchBar, but arguably more versatile.


 

It's also donationware, unlike the commercial package.


 

There's a lot of strange, clever things that it can do (like browse iTunes playlists and iPhoto slideshows).


 

It's underdocumented, though. #perl has been playing with it all afternoon and teasing out features, and it seems that's still the best idea.


 

It's probably worth noting that it's still in beta, and has been available (but under a "don't talk about it" disclaimer) for a while.

Stuff that wasn't immediately obvious to me:


 

Press tab once you've picked an object to select a verb / action, which is cool, then some actions want a third object.


 

hold slash briefly to get a navigatable file system tree


 

Also, it's worth opening the catalog and turning things on and off depending on what you like.
