Well, it does once the 450K Flash movie loads in your browser.


 

For those of you who don't track private betas, it's a spin-off of the Music Genome Project.


 

Can you help me discover more music that I'll like?

 

Each friend told us their favorite artists and songs, explored the music we suggested, gave us feedback, and we in turn made new suggestions. Everybody started joking that we were now their personal DJs.

 

A bit like last.fm, then.


 

I was a bit surprised, when scrabbling through Safari's Activity Viewer, to find that there were a bunch of suspiciously MP3 sized objects listed. It turns out that you can quite easily capture them by option-double-clicking on each line in the window.


 

Which is naughty, but nice.

Yes, its recommendations do seem a bit wonky.

Not having heard of something could be a good thing.
